Aim: This symposium aims to lay a scientific and developmental foundation for the reconstruction of Syria, addressing the challenges and leveraging development opportunities in a country bearing the deep scars of war. In this context, the primary objective is to bring together academic knowledge from various fields to pioneer sustainable, inclusive, and action-oriented solutions for the country's multidimensional rebuilding process (e.g., infrastructure, health, education, the safe and dignified return of refugees, social trauma, and the protection of cultural heritage). By adopting an interdisciplinary approach focused on growth, renewal, and sustainable repatriation, the symposium also seeks to create a platform for dialogue and collaboration among Syrian and international academics, thereby contributing to the regeneration of knowledge and the country's integration with the global academic community.
Scope: Within the framework of "Reconstructing Syria: Developmental Challenges and Opportunities," the symposium encompasses all scientific and academic fields related to reconstruction, development, and sustainability.
